Call for Papers / Abstracts / Posters / Presentations
We are happy to announce the Call for Papers for IHHWC:DUBLIN 2020 to be held at CROKE PARK, from 20 – 25 September 2020. The main theme is, ‘Building Homes for Tomorrow’ and we invite Academic & Non-Academic submissions related (but not limited) to the Themes / Topics and Sub-themes at the following location: https://www.ihhwc-dublin2020.ie/programme/themes-topics/.
Submissions
At IHHWC 2020, we will present Best Paper Awards (Academic & Non-Academic) in various categories, and Best Student Paper Awards & Best Student Poster Awards. These awards will be judged by the Awards Committee which will consist of a group of International & National experts.
Academic Submissions
There will be a maximum of 2 no. parallel Academic Sessions across the 3 no. business days. Those submitting Abstracts that cannot be accommodated will be informed promptly and offered the alternative of an Infographic Poster presentation. We particularly welcome Abstracts from postgraduate students and these will be prioritised however, it would also be great to see contributions from undergraduate students (who may also submit Infographic Posters). Please clearly adhere to the formatting guidelines below and on-line via the EasyChair portal (www.easychair.org).
IHHWA / IHA Submissions (& Others)
There will be 5 no. Plenary Sessions and 3 no. parallel Concurrent Sessions across the 3 no. business days. Those making submissions that cannot be accommodated will be informed promptly and offered the alternative of an Infographic Poster presentation. We particularly welcome all types of submissions from IHHWA / IHA Members and these will be prioritised however, it would also be great to receive Infographic Poster contributions from National / International Agencies, Associations and Regulatory / Representative Bodies who are involved in the residential sector. Please clearly adhere to the formatting guidelines below and on-line via the EasyChair portal (www.easychair.org).

Abstracts
Abstracts are for research or practice work which is suitably advanced and has substantial results and reflections that would inform the work of the wider research data management community. Papers may identify challenges, propose a solution or approach tackling these, or describe an activity or research project currently in progress or recently completed. Of particular interest are lessons learned and recommendations for best practice.
How to submit Abstracts
You are required to submit an abstract of approximately 200 words. If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to give a 20-minute presentation at IHHWC:DUBLIN 2020, followed by 5 minutes of questions.
Accepted papers will also be invited to write-up in full (6-12 pages not including references and appendices, approximately 3,000 – 7,000 words) to publish in the conference proceedings. Your submission must use the provided template. It should observe the word limit, be written using clear language, accurately reflect the title and abstract, present a coherently structured argument, with sufficient context for the reader, and concrete examples where appropriate.
Based on the review of your abstract you will have the option to submit the paper for further peer review, for publication in the Conference Digest of Abstracts. You can choose to submit your paper as a research paper or general article.

Accepted papers will also be invited to write-up in full (6-12 pages not including references and appendices, approximately 3,000 – 7,000 words) to publish in the conference proceedings. Your submission must use the provided template. It should observe the word limit, be written using clear language, accurately reflect the title and abstract, present a coherently structured argument, with sufficient context for the reader, and concrete examples where appropriate.
Based on the review of your abstract you will have the option to submit the paper for further peer review, for publication in the Digest of Abstracts. You can choose to submit your paper as a research paper or general article.

Infographic Posters
These enable you to display information about your work through graphics rather than words. The ideal poster should be designed to attract attention and generate interaction. Posters are displayed in an open area throughout the conference and the programme includes a dedicated poster viewing slot. Posters are displayed adjacent to where coffee breaks and lunches are served, which gives you even more time to interact with those who show interest in your work.
How to submit a poster
You can either submit a short abstract (we expect 250 words but allow up to 2 pages) or the poster itself, if it is available.
The full poster will have to be submitted, in PDF format, following these simple guidelines:
A) portrait or landscape – 841mm x 1189mm or approximately 33.1″ x 46.8″
Your poster should be one piece and not made up of separate sections.
Your poster should include title, author(s) names, affiliations, institutional logos, where appropriate, and email addresses.

Presentations
Presentations may take the form of either Oral (PowerPoint) or Poster, enabling you to engage with an audience at a level that cannot be achieved through other forms of media. Presentations may identify challenges, propose a solution or approach tackling these, or describe an activity or research project currently in progress or recently completed. Of particular interest are lessons learned and recommendations for best practice.
How to submit a Presentation
You are required to submit a 250 word abstract as per the format described above. If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to give a 12-minute presentation at IHHWC:DUBLIN 2020, followed by 5 minutes of questions.
Accepted papers will also be invited to write-up in full (6-12 pages not including references and appendices, approximately 3,000 – 7,000 words) to publish in the conference proceedings. Your submission must use the provided template. It should observe the word limit, be written using clear language, accurately reflect the title and abstract, present a coherently structured argument, with sufficient context for the reader, and concrete examples where appropriate.

- Submission of full Papers*: 23:59hrs GMT, Friday 15th May 2020
- Editorial decision on full Papers*: 23:59hrs GMT, Friday 12th June 2020
- Submission of final Papers*: 23:59hrs GMT, Friday 10th July 2020

Please note: You may submit an Abstract (Academic or Non-Academic) for review before you have paid the conference registration fee. If your Abstract is successful, the Presenting Author will be required to register for the conference by 30th June 2020.
